Design and develop for animal shelter
Overview
In this project I had to design a volunteer website for animal shelter which called Paw connect. The website is modern design. So people can come here to adopt pets.
Challenge
Create an intuitive experience that reduces friction in finding adoptable pets and encourages users to take action by adopting or volunteering.
Interview
Interviewed 5–8 potential adopters.
Key findings:
🐾 Users wanted larger pet photos.
🐾 Users wanted filters by age and size.
🐾 Users wanted volunteering to be easier to find.

Designed a warm, welcoming home screen that highlights the pet shelter's services and presents key information to help users quickly understand the website and navigate its features.

During my initial user research, interviewees mentioned they expected an animal shelter website to feel warm, trustworthy, and welcoming, making it easy to explore available pets and feel confident about adoption.
This color palette was chosen to create a sense of warmth, trust, and compassion. The soft greens communicate reliability, safety, and care, while warm accent colors add friendliness and optimism, reflecting the joyful experience of finding a forever home.
